Subject: The course ‘e-tourism: Digital Skills for Small-Medium (SMEs) TouRISM enterprises’ is primarily aimed at entrepreneurs and their employees in small tourism companies with the aim of imparting basic knowledge of digital applications and strengthening individual skills in self-directed learning in an online learning environment.
Module 1: Online apps for tourism
This module offers an introduction to the most important digital tools for the tourism industry, with a focus on online booking systems, property management systems (PMS) and guest management applications.
The aim is to provide learners with a basic understanding of the online applications used in tourism.
Module 2: Service quality in the hotel and restaurant industry
This course module provides a basic understanding of the need for excellent service in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Excellent service in the hospitality industry is crucial for long-term business success and requires a wide range of skills from service staff, covering all aspects of the guest care process.
Module 3: Intercultural Competences
The aim of this module is to teach learners about intercultural awareness in the work environment and the concept of intercultural competence.
